The British Government have created a simple excel tool to help employers to work out the costs of poor employee health to their organisation and create a business case for taking action(14).

MOVES Tool

MOVES stands for "Model for estimating the Outcomes and Values in the Economics of Sport" and can be used to determine the return on investment of sport and physical activity interventions. This tool has been created by the University of East Anglia's Medical School and Sport England and further information can be found HERE(15).

NICE Guidance

the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence have released public health guidance on Behaviour Change: individual approaches, which makes recommendations on interventions aimed at changing health-damaging behaviours relating to diet, physical activity, alcohol, sex and smoking(16).
